AMS 2000 COMPANY PROFILE

AMS 2000  is a private company leading the clinical laboratory diagnostics market. The company is owned 75% by BTT Israel, a subsidiary of BATM , a public Company traded on the London Stock exchange and held mainly by public institutions and investors. BATM market Cap exceeds 300 million USD.

AMS 2000 is founded in 1997, our vision and logon is to bring “The Complete Diagnostic Solution”.

We are permanently expanding our portfolio of suppliers, our customer base, the regions we cover, being permanently focused on developing our business.

We cover the whole territory of Romania and we are currently expanding our business abroad into several South Eastern European countries.

We have already active operations ongoing in Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria and Hungary.

Our main premises, including offices and warehouse, are located in Bucharest, covering a surface of over 2000 square meters, out of which 600 square meters for the offices.

We have 2 regional offices, one for the Western part of the Country, based in Timisoara and one for the Eastern part of the country, based in Iasi. Shortly a third office will open for the Central part of the country in Cluj.

AMS installed already more than 1500 different instruments.

Our customer's data base has more than 2000 customers, including all the hospitals, private clinics, research institutes, universities, public health institutions, veterinary labs, food industry companies etc.

A separate division in the company is the "Waste Management" providing solutions for medical and contaminated waste collection and treatment including incineration, neutralization and decontamination.

AMS is one of the very few Romanian Companies eligible to participate in any large national or international tenders, due to our solid experience and strong financial backup.

Our vision is to maintain our major leading position in our field of activity, providing the market with complete professional solutions which satisfy at the highest level of quality our customer’s needs.

Our Staff

AMS 2000 has 45 employees.

The company is based on the following departments: sales, marketing, technical, operations.

Our Management team, Product specialists and Sales representatives are all with academic degree: medical doctors, biologists, chemists or biochemists, permanently trained and with a vast experience in the laboratory market.

The Finance and Administration Department is organized to support all the activity of the company according to the particularities of the market. All the financing of our activity is made out of the owner’s private money and we do not use any bank or third party resources.

Our Company is ISO 9001 certified since January 2005.

Our Company acts as Distributor Company in Romania and other countries in the nearby area, proudly representing a few of the leading important manufacturers in the market.
